I prefer working mostly in the graphics suite X7, but for some technical illustration work I use Tech suite. The both suites share the same engine and the UI is basically the same, but the also differ. Just be reminded that X6 Technical suite, and future X7 Technical suite have certain technical illustration tools and features you might need, or not need.
